Q. Will our wireless LAN still work with Skyriver Wireless Broadband service Internet access?

A. Yes. Skyriver wireless Internet access and 802.11/WiFi wireless LANs have no performance impact or interference with each other.

Q. Is Skyriver Wireless Broadband susceptible to interference or interception?
A. No. Skyriver maintains multiple layers of security including coding and encryption. It is not possible for another network to interfere with the Wireless Broadband service or for a hacker to intercept signals or enter the network.

Q. What hardware does Skyriver install at the customer location?
A. An antenna is installed on the roof at the customer location and wired to a 2”x2” jack to be located in the server closet or another preferred location inside the customer office. A LAN router connected to this jack can then be installed to provide Internet access to all computers on the LAN.

Q. Does harsh weather conditions such as fog or rain impact Skyriver service?
A. No. Skyriver utilizes a wireless spectrum that is unaffected by weather conditions.

Q. Is it possible to upgrade to a faster service speed as additional bandwidth is required by our business?
A. Yes. Skyriver can upgrade the service speed remotely with just a phone call from the customer.
